CONSTRUCTION: Hydronic Piping

The HVAC industry has always been a stable force in building construction, but the times have called for change and it is especially noticeable in HVAC Piping.  The control of the environment is often the most important consideration when a building is open for business. At Cobb Mechanical, this is our livelihood. Knowing what we have done in the past and looking toward the future is a part of what we do. New technology has produced many energy efficient cooling and heating systems. New types of systems are showing up and Cobb is experienced both, from air-cooled chillers to reciprocating and evaporative machines and split systems, Cobb Mechanical can install the right system for the right building. Heating systems can be as simple as a reheat coil or electric reheat, or as technical as one of many types hydronic system with heat exchangers, water boilers, or steam. Using a state of the art weld fabrication facility, piping can be prefabricated in our own facility and shipped direct to the jobsite, saving valuable time in the construction process. New materials are now being widely used such as propress and plastics in hydronic piping and Cobb is actively installing these systems on many projects. The technical aspects of our industry demand a continuous attention to plans and specifications. Our management teams are experienced with different systems and well versed in helping with design issues.  We work closely with both designers and vendors to make sure that the system we install works as intended and when it is time to open your doors, Cobb mechanical can assure you the system we install will provide the environmental comfort that you expect.
