The Medical Education Training Campus (METC) at Fort Sam Houston is the largest institution in the world dedicated solely to joint military services medical training and education.
Cobb provided mechanical/plumbing construction services for Medical Instructional Facility (MIF) Buildings 1 & 2 — a design/build joint venture. Each MIF building is approximately 135,000 square feet with four floors of classrooms and a mechanical penthouse. Future Army, Navy, and Air Force enlisted medics will learn skills and knowledge in radiology, nuclear medicine, biomedical engineering, anesthesiology, and dentistry.
