Memorial Hospital for Children
This seven-story cloverleaf-shaped building is a 178,000 square-foot addition to the existing Memorial Children’s Hospital.
The 107-bed expansion includes a 24-hour emergency room and trauma center, women’s and children’s services, and offices for the hospital’s cardiologists. Features of the women’s and children’s services include an operating room, neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, a birthing unit with mother-baby suites, and Colorado’s only Ronald McDonald Family Room. Constructed in 18 months, the project was completed on schedule and within budget.
