Built as the replacement for the facility in operation since 1904, Miners’ Colfax Medical Center is a 72,000 square-foot, 33-bed state-owned care center.
It provides acute and long-term care services to the community of Raton and the Miners of New Mexico.
With patient rooms oriented towards adjacent mountain views, and interior courtyards near the dining and family waiting areas, MCMC provides a peaceful atmosphere that promotes health and comfort for both patients and visitors. Features of the hospital include an in-house pharmacy and laboratory, women’s services, two operating rooms, four intensive care unit rooms, an outpatient clinic and cardiology clinic.
