The major facility at Texas State University’s Round Rock campus, the Avery Building, opened in 2005.
The 125,000-square-foot facility has a separate stand-alone central utility plant and includes 40 classrooms, eight computer labs, a library, faculty offices, a counseling clinic, a learning and testing center, a student lounge and several conference rooms. The central utility plant has additional capacity for future expansion and makes use of a specially constructed underground utility vault to ease connection to future systems when the campus grows.
