Vista Ridge opened in 2008 as the newest high school in Falcon School District, just east of Colorado Springs.
The facility served as a good example of building according to U.S. Green Building Council standards and LEED guidelines, incorporating energy saving heating and cooling systems and environmentally friendly materials.
