Anschultz Medical, Education II Facility. Aurora, CO

The Education Facility II Project located on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora Colorado is a $ 54 Million, 286,000 square foot complex consisting of two five-level classroom and office buildings linked by an enclosed elevated bridge.  These buildings serve the School of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry and Pharmacy Programs for the University of Colorado in Denver.  This project earned the Award of Construction Excellence (ACE) Project of the Year designation from the Colorado Associated General Contractors ($ 30 to $ 60 Million category). This project incorporated 1300 Tons of Cooling Served by Eight Custom Built Penthouse Style Rooftop Units.  The main mechanical room is served by the Campus Central Plant underground steam, condensate, and chilled water distribution piping.
