Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital

Presbyterian Saint Luke’s Medical Center is an 11-story hospital with a 390,000 square-foot underground parking garage connected to a 140,000 square-foot office building. The tower has 261 beds, a 19 room surgical floor, 38 ICU rooms, maternity section, N.I.C.U., full-service emergency facility, central sterilization, and a kitchen. Cobb Mechanical collaborated with Hensel Phelps as General Contractor, Haller Larson as architect and ME Engineers as mechanical engineer.

PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS
This project has a 3 MVA capacity co-generation plant, high-rise smoke control, 13.2 kv primary service distribution, a central plant, a co-generation interface and a 20,000 gallon below-grade fuel system.  A helicopter pad and drive-through between facilities are equipped with a snow-melt system of 110,000 square feet.  In addition to the new facility, and existing 450,000 square-foot facility was remodeled.
